Our adult-only caravan park in Norfolk reopens in February, just as Norfolk springs back to life. From snowdrop gardens and coastal wildlife to food festivals, artisan fairs, and outdoor performances, here’s your guide to the best events happening from February to May, with many reachable by train along the scenic Wherry Line or just a short drive away.

February Highlights, Snowdrops & Seaside Wildlife

Raveningham Hall Snowdrop Walks
Wander peaceful estate gardens just 15 minutes by car from our park, where snowdrops bloom in early February. Dogs on leads welcome.

Walsingham Abbey Snowdrops
This North Norfolk favourite offers woodland trails with sweeping carpets of snowdrops. About 1 hour 30 minutes by car, it’s perfect for a full-day scenic drive. A photographer’s dream.

Horsey Beach Seal Watching
Peak season for spotting grey seal pups along the dunes. Around 30 minutes’ drive from the park. Bring your binoculars!

Norwich Science Festival (14–21 Feb)
Interactive exhibits, talks, and pop-up science fun across the city. Easily accessible by train from Haddiscoe to Norwich (approx. 35 mins). Most events are free.

March Magic, Gardens, Antiques & Reopenings

Holkham Hall Reopens (from 29 Mar)
Tour the grand state rooms, stroll the deer park, or explore the walled gardens as this historic estate welcomes spring. About 1 hour 20 mins by car via the North Norfolk coast.

Norfolk Antiques Fair (3–4 Apr)
Early April, but worth booking now. Over 100 dealers at the Norwich Showground with treasures for every taste. 30 mins drive or train to Norwich then short taxi/bus to the Showground.

April Adventures, Foodies, Vikings & Fairs

Norwich Food Festival (26 Apr)
A new 2026 addition celebrating East Anglia’s finest flavours. Outdoor stalls, tastings, chef demos and more. Free entry. Dog-friendly. Just 35 mins by train from Haddiscoe to Norwich.

Sheringham Viking Festival (11 Apr)
A torch-lit boat burning on the beach and costumed warriors in battle! Around 1 hour 20 minutes by car or train to Norwich then on to Sheringham via Bittern Line.

Fakenham Spring Artisan Fair (18–19 Apr)
Discover handmade gifts, art and treats at this relaxed weekend fair. About 1 hour by car. Dogs welcome on leads.

East Anglian Game & Country Fair (25–26 Apr)
Gundogs, falconry, country crafts and lots of dog-friendly activities. Held near Thetford, roughly 1 hour by car or train to Thetford then short taxi.

Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival (15–17 May)
Celebrate Norfolk’s famous seafood with coastal walks, cooking demos, and crab-tastic feasting. About 1 hr 20 mins by car or train to Norwich then Bittern Line to Cromer.

Beccles Food & Drink Festival (23 May)
Over 60 stalls, live cookery shows and market day buzz. Only 20 minutes by car or 30 minutes via train through Lowestoft.

Out There Festival (28–30 May, Great Yarmouth)
Jaw-dropping circus acts, outdoor theatre and music across Yarmouth’s streets and seafront. 15–20 mins by car or local train.
