Arrival and location of your pitch
The site is not permanently manned, and you will NOT need to check-in on arrival.
From the main road drive down the track to the Priory Farm Restaurant, past the Llamas, and head to the right of the restaurant car park round to the rear, you will see the entrance of the caravan park there. Please check the sitemap located to the left of the entrance for the caravan parking locations.
Upon arrival, please find your way to your allocated pitch. Not all pitches are the same, so it's important that you only set up on the pitch we've allocated to you.
Disposal of waste water & amenities
Electricity
Only our Standard with Electric and Luxury pitches have their own electricity supply. This is fused and swtiched at the side of the unit. Please switch the supply off via the switch located on the side of the unit before plugging in your caravan feed. You will also need to turn your switch off again before removing your caravan/motorhome feed as when the switch is on it locks your feed into position.
Lights
Each pitch utility post has a switched light fitting for your convenience. The common waste water and fresh water supply areas are illuminated throughout the night with a dusk till dawn sensor.
Waste Water
There is a central chemical waste disposal point which is covered and sealed with a green top. Adjacent is a separate grey waste disposal point, both have separate taps for cleanliness and rinsing, please ensure you leave the point clean & tidy for your neighbours. You are welcome to run your grey water waste to any neighbouring trees or hedgerows that you're parked near.
Drive Over Grey Waste Disposal
We have a drive over drain for campervans or touring vans that are fitted with a grey waste disposal valve allowing for easy and convenient disposal of your grey waste water only.
Fresh Water
There is a separate point for your fresh water.
Rubbish Disposal
We offer a single bin for rubbish disposal and ask that you only dispose of rubbish that is bagged as this bin is emptied by hand on a regular basis.
Event field and organised events
Our field is used from time to time for events.
If your booking is on the same day as an event is planned will notify you at the time of your booking so you can decide if you wish to proceed or not. If however an event is booked after your booking is made we will contact you and let you know the details. Should you wish to cancel your booking we will offer you a full refund and a free night’s stay for a future date.
Pizza Horse Box
During some of the summer months a wood fired pizza truck visits and serves yummy handmade pizzas.
